Job Summary:
The Business Development Officer (BDO) will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving growth in new markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, a strategic mindset, and excellent communication skills. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and lead initiatives to expand the company’s client base and revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and industry trends.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: Actively identify and prospect new clients through cold calling, networking, and lead generation efforts. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Present and pitch the company’s products/services to potential clients.
Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations with prospective clients. Ensure clear communication and alignment on business terms and expectations.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure client needs are met and business objectives are achieved.
Reporting & Performance Tracking: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, client satisfaction, and market penetration. Adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets.
Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness and expand the company’s market presence.
